They're probably elegance wheels - the USA didn't get "classic" trim spec and the car has an avantgarde grill (all USA models came with this grill).

How about the ugliest SLR EVER!

Apparently this gold encrusted monstrosity was created by a Swiss "designer" called Ueli Anliker who claims to have spent more than 30,000 hours and about €3 million to build it. What a waste of time and money!!!
