I have a set of standard 15" wheels that need two to be refurbished, and I also need 3 tyres pretty soon. Looking on ebay, I reckon, for a few dollars more, I could get a nice set to compliment my '91 W124, however......the 15" wheels have an offset of 41. Does this mean only ET41 wheels will fit my car?
What's the difference between wheels with a higher/ lower number than 41? Does a higher number move it closer to the arch and a lower number in the opposite direction?
Any help would be much appreciated in an explanation of the offset numbers. TIA
(anyone got a nice set of 16/17's for sale?)
