Offset??

Chaps, I am hopeless at visualising different offsets between wheels so would like some advice. My W220 has 18 inch wheels with an et44 offset, will a set with et35 offset be further in or further out? Thanks and apologies for the stupid question!

Out, the smaller the offset, the more it sticks out.

As above. ET35 will poke out 9mm further toward the wheel arch

As a general rule of thumb you can usually go out another 10-15mm over stock wheels without much issue.

I currently have 15mm spacers on all round without issue.

Obviously this is car dependant and some cannot however most cars will be fine

Yes thanks, I have spacers on at the moment, 10mm front, 15mm rear without any issues, so I think if I change to an et35 I could remove the front spacers and fit 5mm ones to the rear?

I also think width plays a part so that may also change the total poke of the wheel. Certainly use that website to have a play around
