Cosmetically I quite like it , but why in god's name would you go to that effort on a 300SL (biturbos etc.) when a factory stock 500 would have been cheaper and more powerful?

It's just got the Mosselmann twin turbo kit on it , that everyone puts on the w124 E saloons and coupes ....

Surely the power could be ramped up from 300bhp ? I know aka$h plans to have more than that out of his when done ...

Just turn the boost up a bit ....

the Mosselmann system was designed to give a relatively low boost (about 0.4 bar) to increase longevity - 300bhp sounds about right
