Hi all...long time!! Happy holidays

Can you think of other songs with the MB iconic words in the lyrics?
E.g.
1. Janis Joplin: "Mercedes benz": Oh Lord, won't you buy me a Mercedes Benz? all my friends drive porches. :)
2. The Eagles: "Hotel california".... Her mind is Tiffany-twisted, she got the Mercedes bends..

Pink: Get This Party Started

We'll be lookin' flashy in my Mercedes Benz

"Ooh, Rump-o'-smooth-skin
You say you want to get in my Benz?
Well, use me, use me
'Cause you ain't that average groupie"|

Baby got back - Sir Mix-a-lot

Cant remember the title, but there’s a Sheryl Crow song with the line ‘dad pulled up in a Mercedes-Benz’

And Mel Brooks had a song about Hitler - did it in the back of a black Mercedes

The Hitler Rap ?

Lenny Kravits..

Babe you say I'm the only one
But you're **?@£#* all my friends
Baby all that you care about
Is gucci and Mercedes Benz

The Divine comedy...

Lovers watch their backs as hacks in macs
Take snaps through telephoto lenses
Chase Mercedes Benz’ through the night
A mourning nation weeps and wails
But keeps the sales of evil tabloids healthy
The poor protect the wealthy in this world

Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong..

Bought you some crazy sport shirts
You had your fling
A Mercedes Benz sport car and everything
Love makes me treat you the way that I do
Gee baby, ain't I good to you

Talking Heads..

Gangster of love
Gangster of love
You with that cocktail in your hand
You in your red Mercedes Benz
Goin' in one ear and out the other
Cover up the pain with laughter, baby
I'm not laughing, ha ha ha
I'm not laughing

Cant remember the title, but there’s a Sheryl Crow song with the line ‘dad pulled up in a Mercedes-Benz’
It's obvious the trouble we're in
When your father pulls up in a Mercedes Benz
He says he just happened to be in the neighborhood
But before he leaves he slips the landlord the rent
You say "It's just a question of eliminating obstacles"
As you throw your dinner out the kitchen door
You say "I know how you try"
But honey let's eat out tonight

Elvis Costello...

Yesterday's coal train came to rest in the bitter cutting
And as the signals took an age to change it was easy pickings
So you go to the movies where they smash it up
You want to feel your heart pumping it makes you feel good
All through the karaoke girls were squealing the hits
As another Mercedes-Benz gets blown to bits
While all the time in the Camptown Theatres of Piccadilly
They're going to throw a black-face minstrel show for the barefoot children
That they're always selling
They'll say "It's quaint" as the guilty ones faint
And claim they ain't underneath this paint
We interrupt these liberal saints with their whips and watermelon

Spin Doctors...

Pick up my kid in a Jaguar
Drop him off in a Mercedes Benz
When you look over your shoulder
You're gonna see me through different lens
By the time you get to Phoenix
I'll be laughing in L.A.
By the time you find the right bottle of wine I'll be sipping my Courvoisier

Shirley Bassey...

Get this party started on a Saturday night
Everybody is waiting for me to arrive
Sendin' out the message to all of my friends
We'll be looking flashy in my Mercedes Benz

Reo speedwagon, don’t let him go.

He's got plenty of cash, he's got plenty of friends
He drives women wild, then he drives off in a Mercedes-Benz
He's got a long wick with a flame at both ends
He's hot

While Mercedes is not mentioned in the lyrics this is very Mercedes very German--- a 1990 remix of a 1974 classic by KRAFTWERK
