The System of Car Control is a system or drill, each feature of which shall be considered, in sequence, by the driver at the approach to any hazard.

Listed below are the actions of the System of Car Control in the correct sequence in which they should be considered.

Feature Reason (or purpose)
1 Select the Course; Turning right.
2 Check Mirrors and then Signal; Done that all clear.
3 Brake (adjust speed); Don’t use them cause I’m in a C63S
4 When safe, select the Gear and check the Mirror(s) (and Blind Spot if applicable); Yeah yeah done all that and I’ve turned right.
5 Accelerate through the hazard to leave the hazard quickly and safely and watch out for any trees which may suddenly jump out on you.

Those things should really come with driving lessons. And you need to take an IQ test first.

I must confess I did something similar (in an Alfa Romeo) when I started driving back in the seventies. Not a drift event... just driving too fast around a bend in the wet. It's easily done - you instinctively over-correct and in the wrong direction.

Turning the steering wheel INTO the direction of the slide and bringing the tail back in line isn't intuitive and requires training.

I have since learnt how to do this properly, and in recent years adjustment my driving so that I don't need to use this 'skill' any more ;)

Gotta love that this car has just been stopped by a nice sturdy tree and the fuel tank has took a nice big whack, so a chap thinks it's ok to smoke a cigarette right next to the fuel filler cap.

I try not to watch these videos as I usually end up get trapped in the YouTube vortex whereby an hour of your life vanishes never to return and you’ve sat through supercar crashes, dodgy aircraft landings, UFO sightings, divs doing 200mph along a motorway and dogs skateboarding.
I got suckered into this one though...bet that hurt...his pride and his wallet.
What a waste of a car!!
