Mercedes E-220 blutec
I have a used E220 blutec with 11K on the clock from Mercedes dealership. I've been told the car serviced on delivery day and shows 355 days to Service B. The oil is quiet dark and black. Is it normal? Thanks

Yes, if it's a Diesel... oil gets black very quickly.

No, if it's a petrol.

Soot that diesels produce is a very effective dye so even a little residual old oil dyes the new oil straight away. It's normal and can't be avoided.

You can change the oil on a diesel, run the engine for two minutes, check the oil level - black...

Thanks for replies.if it's normal, I have no choice to trust .

this may sound drastic but you can send your oil to a lab for £30 and they will tell ya if its new or not, they can also tell ya how worn your engine is and if something is breaking down, Engine Archives - The Oil Lab
