folks..just bought my service bits for wifes a160 2002...jacked up but cant find the sump or oil filter! spent 2 hours browsing the web for instructions but no joy. Apparently some folks are pumping out the oil from the dipstick but that cant be right!

Does anyone know where the oil sump and oil filter are!..also the airfilter is at the top in the housing isnt it?

    Many thanks

    Welcome to the forum.
Yes, even garages suck the oil out through the dip-stick hole. Some manufactures don't even fit a sump drainage bolt any more.
Sorry I can't help you with the filter whereabouts, but it's probably NOT underneath the car.

    Good luck.
