Did you provide your reg number when you ordered the parts?

Yes I put it in the notes section

What specification does your handbook say to use?

Anyengine oil by any manufacturer that meets or exceeds the MB specification is fine to use.

Can't see M112 on that page?

Oh :fail

The spec sheet is in the back of your handbook Abs. I'm sure your M112 uses 229.5.
As J Bell, did you give the dealer your Reg# when ordering. That ensures you get the correct grade and spec.

Hi Roger,

No worries thanks for the help anyway,

Yes I gave them by reg, but you never know with some dealerships it's best to double check haha

I checked again now with MB and they confirmed it's the correct oil and filter

Id only ever use MB genuine oil etc

Thanks again to everyone

Hi thanks for your help

It's sorted now it is the correct stuff,

I'd only personally use genuine stuff as it's really competitively priced anyway,

Cheers

What is "genuine stuff"?

MB do not make the oil they sell, there are a number of suppliers that make the various fluids used by them

I just mean I'd rather buy it from MB when it's a reasonable cost anyway.

Relax then no need to double check.

Just they hadn't put the reg in the invoice so was thinking they may not have seen it.
