oil in the wiring loom

I've seen old threads on here with same problems do I buy the loom from main dealer or is there any one who has them checked history papers and it's had 3 o2 sensors and scanner says it's sensor again but it's filled with oil

Loom only from main dealer. Get the oil blocker loom and cam magnet too.

Just rang up mercedes doncaster they say they no longer stock the part

I've ordered and fitted loads. Ask another dealer.

Are you sure you need to purchase a new loom? When I had this problem oil made it all the way to the ECU. After replacing the cam sensor I cleaned the loom at both ends daily, which meant disconnecting two plugs at the end of the loom that connect to the ECU and the problem was resolved.

As above, contact cleaner on plugs and a oil blocker in the loom.
