Oil leak rear engine c220 -2014 cdi ?

Hi all. Been having oil on the drive last few weeks. Finally got it up to the garage. Panels off and the leak looks to be coming from the rear top of the engine with oil seen on both sides of the engine…. Any ideas on what’s at the rear could be the issue ? Heading away next weekend for Xmas and needs sorted ASAP. Thanks.

mine has just had the rocker cover gasket replaced which had similar symptoms to yours.

Turns out several loose bolts on engine. That normal for a merc ?!

Had the same problem. Loose bolts. Ended up replacing the rocker cover gasket in the end.

I had the gasket ready to fit. But went with tightening the bolts. See if fixes the leak
