i have a very low milage w124 m111 engine i have the oil level light coming on dimly and flickering changed the switch for genuine merc one ,oil has only done 800 mile and the level is correct any ideas why

As long as your actual oil level and oil pressure are fine... then this is likely to be an electrical fault.

The oil level sensor could be failing, or the wiring to it may be suffering from chafing, etc.

Failure of the level sensor on the 124 is quite common but the fact that you have replaced it should rule that out. With a dim light showing I would be checking the integrity of the relevant earth connections first.

REMEMBER THIS LAST WEEK WELL I FOUND IT very low milage w124 m111 engine i have the oil level light coming on dimly and flickering changed the switch for genuine merc one ,oil has only done 800 mile and the level is correct any ideas why connecting wires on to the purge valve
