Could anyone tell me where the sensor is located please, so that we can check the connections? Thanks in advance.

At the oil filter housing. Time to fully open the bonnet and hang over the wing for a while!

Brilliant, thanks! I was changing the plugs whilst the car was up on stands, and my mate was underneath changing the discs, so neither one of us had a good view!
