Saluti tutti, I am wondering if the Petronas Syntium 7000E 0w--30 is the right oil for a mercedes S320 Cdi 2007, they seem to going cheap at Halfords at the moment.

If it meets 229.51 MB spec then it’s ok , 5w30 is normal for the cdi’s

Any oil meeting either MB229.51 or MB229.52 (the latter is better) will do.

You can by MB-Branded oil on eBay for very good prices.

(The MB-Branded oil is probably made by Petronas anyway).

I.E Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF). Good cold starting performance, low oil consumption and minimised exhaust emissions. 229.51 Fully Synthetic 5W30. Minimises engine wear resulting in optimal engine service life.
