Oil specs...another question

As far as I can see there are 3 MB specs for oil, 229.1, 229.3 and 229.5.

Am I right in saying that 229.5 is 'better' or is it just different???


I guess the question is for the UK climate what spec is appropriate?

There's also 229.31 Low Ash oil for EU4 diesels. Don't know if there's 229.51 too?
