as I swap sunny Northamptonshire for soggy Bahamas recently ... oh wait, it's the other way around   ... anyway, glad I joined the MBClub UK!

Driving here is weird to say the least - most of the cars are LHD (US imports), but they drive on the left as we do - and wouldn't understand why I wanted to buy a RHD ...

To quote the Pythons upside down prisoner in 'Life of Brian'....

You lucky lucky Ba*$*rd:D:D

Depends where he is - out in the cays is lovely, but personally I would not give you a thankyou for the main island - where Nassau and that pink monstrosity of a hotel on the island that used to be called Pig Island - now rechristened Paradise Island - is!

LOL, spot on - Nassau is busy, noisy and far from clean, the entire New Providence Island is, well, a mess. The former Hog Island :) (i.e. Paradise Island) on the other hand is nice, clean and much more civilised - nice roads, manicured lawns, sidewalks, working traffic lights LOL. The pink monstrosity :) is growing (two more buildings gone up in the last three years), but you don't have to look at it ;) - the other side of the island is rather nice - see my avatar ...

To be honest Northamptonshire's a bit "forrin" :D

I knew there was something fishy about the place, just couldn't put my finger to it (or is it "in it"?) LOL

Have you considered a McLaren F1? :D

Welcome to the forum.

Looks a bit like Coral Harbour - which is where our friends live! They have a double plot (so 2 moorings, one rented out, the other for Caius's 40 foot motor cruiser) and have built their own house. At the entrance to Coral Harbour is (was?) the incomplete building where Daniel Craig filmed the "jumping off buildings and cranes" scene at the start of a Bond movie a few years back.

For wheels, he bought a second hand Lexus (big one) from Japan and imported it!

Nice, I am thinking about some remote cay for a retirement home, but that's in the future still :)
Actually, I too bought my A190 from Japan, the spec's slightly different to UK ones, but at least the wheel is where it supposed to be ;)

Hi and welcome to the forum. Are you organising any GTG's in your area?

No, I'm too lazy to organise anything  LOL

TBH, I'm on MBClub UK mainly to get some info and links to reliable suppliers in the UK, willing to ship to the Bahamas - getting simple things like a new set of floor matts is a big headache here - Mercedes does not sell A-Class in America, so nobody's got any kit for it here, never mind for the RHD ones :)
