Anyone been here any good?
Going tonight for the early bird menu :thumb:.

Well, at least you're coming over to the right side of the Pennines. :)

That "Old Peculier" award (even if they can't spell it properly) sounds rather promising. Yummy!

I'll have to put this away in the memory banks for next time I am in the area. Not sure I'd want to drive there though, if you catch my drift.

Sounds like a great pub - thanks for posting Andy!!!! :thumb:

:doh:Perhaps I should have looked at the link first:eek:
I was assuming you were quoting directly....you know what they say about assumption:wallbash:

Reccommended!

I to vouch for this place good prices (early bird menu 17.30-19.00), good food.
We got there at 17.30 and it was dead :), I like it quiet but that was a little to quiet, shortly after some people came in and sat at the table next to us! what's that about ? there was about 20 other tables to choose from.
Didn't try the 'Old Peculier' but did see the pump :D.
I had the Scampi, I didn't fancy the sausage :D.
Then a quick wander around Howarth.

You could have really popped your steam cherry on the Keithly and Worth Valley Railway :). Just at the bottom of the hill. The other place to visit is the Bronte house at the top of the hill.
