Just bought a 76 W114 2.3 Limo (Don't ask why!).Are all the service bits easy to obtain,also what about the "Limo" equation,ie exhaust system,shocks & coil springs.

I've got a '73 230/6 LWB. Most parts are identicle to the W114 saloon so are easy to obtain. Most the service items I get from the main dealer and most motor factors can get the rest for less.
For it's last MOT I had to replace the front track rod and both rear shocks which I bought from Morley Motor Factors (Derby) for less than £150. When I last had an exhaust fitted I slipped the garage an extra tenner and they welded an extra peice on.
The only thing I've had problems with is both my rear doors are very rotten around the window frame I can't get hold of replacements, so it's a case of apply more filler and paint every so often.
