Im about to enter the exciting sphere of glow plug removal and so I had a thought... as you do
Would the glow plugs last longer if you were able to to put a switch in the circuit so as to stop them cycling on / off when the engine was hot?
I'm trying to get Beru plugs and a reamer ;also some copper based anti seize. Maybe new fuel hoses and viton o-rings
The fuel pump is covered in oil and road grime so an injector pump seal kit?
I took the tank out and cleaned it with oven cleaner. She...Ava. .. ( avant-garde )is running on veg oil now
Cheers from Australia
