OM642 turbo seal

Hi guys
Need some advise I am trying to remove the E14 bolt which holds the turbo pipe to replace the seal. Youtube video suggested a wrench which I can't get to sit right on the bolt. Bought a E14 socket also but the long, there is also a torx screw which I think has been messed with, does anyone know what size it should be?

Try a pair of grips on the top of the metal post ?
Maybe cut a slot in the lower bolt in the bottom picture so you can get a flat bladed screwdriver in to it ?

Try a spanner on it .

as OneForTheRoad suggest a ring spanner ( ratchet or normal) will do. tha tis a 10mm from memory.

The torx screw should be a T30 from memory.
