I've always wondered where it was filmed and the blurb identifies the location as the Grand St Bernard Pass on the Italian side. With the benefit of hindsight I can actually recognise parts of the road that I actually drove along in 2007. Pity I didn't know it then! One of the best film opening credits ever. Pure Class.

Thanks for posting the pic - Quite a rare car - you don't see too many of those nowadays - rust got most of them. I had one and sold it for absolutely nothing. Mind you, it was a rubbish car.
