not sure on the value of these at the moment, looks about the right price but what you have to think is, if its clean, a good runner and straight, an AMG like that and an estate for under £4k? Jeez thats cheap. If insurance wasnt an issue for me.... I would go take a look at that

Thanks gunning. Sad person that I am I was trying to "blow up" the garages name that did the servicing - but my software goes to fudge as I get bigger! Can anyone make that out please.
That is one quick puppy I'm sure.

Mileage is factored in as are the imperfections to bodywork mentioned in the ad. The gap around the headlight looks quite big?

I think photos dont help, you can always spot a dodgey car, doesnt look too bad, not a fan of the tints, if its close by id take a gander

Looks pretty decent and £4k is a good price, I believe.

Would be worth a look for someone, who's in a market for one.

Hi

A bit of time with Google and who knows what you will find.

Welcome to Bursledon Motors, Durley, Southampton, Hampshire | Mercedes Benz Specialists | Star diagnosis | Air conditioning, car servicing, repairs, solutions, C, E, A, M Class, SL, SLK, CLK, Smart Car, MOT

Interesting that the car was serviced each time on a Wednesday in November and signed by the same guy with what looks like the same pen but then again it could be a 1 man band.

Forever sceptical:crazy:

Car looks good though and defo worth a look

230k

c43

I looked at a number c43 before buying my C36 AMG

The price looks about right (not many est cars around)

Has it had a gearbox ? (need to ask the seller)

Watch for engine oil leaks and rust around the lips of the front wings and the rear dog legs

Check all the elec work as well

Best of luck

I would take comfort from the fact that the company selling it has feedback of 880 (thereabouts) and is 100% positive....takes some doing when selling cars on e-bay.

....and reach arch lips and on the roof where the inside of the roof rails meet the roof.

On my 99 estate all four arches went (twice) plus the line above the rear bumper (I assume that's the "dog leg"). And it was starting to go on the roof (the roof!?!). And lots of little spiders all over the place where stone chips had penetrated the paint. Basically the paint was thin, didn't adhere well and very easily damaged. Shocking.

My 2000 saloon, on the other hand, had perfect paint. Deep, glossy, resistant to chipping, no rust. In other words, normal paint. No prizes to MB for painting a car properly....

So, in summary, pay attention to the paint!

Great cars if

- the paint is good
- the auutobox had had a couple of fluid changes (or had been replaced)
- the brakes are fresh and
- all the leccie bits are working (my rusty one had faulty climate -never did find the cause)

His feedback is nothing to do with cars... All his car adverts are classifieds and you cant leave feedback for classifieds.

Fair point.....he seems to be selling a lot of stockings judging by some of the items purchased!!!:p

Front bumper bar is missing, £200+ from the dealers...
