Looks a little tired/scruffy but certainly not unusable.

Not for me I'm afraid, I need to sell a car, not buy one

I'd much rather a V8 500 though if I was buying an SL, in all honesty

Unfortunately Neil, these older R129s tend to wear quite badly on the seats (mainly the early pre-facelift models I understand?)

I think there's quite a few out there with much worse seats than that with much lower mileage!

Quite unusual I'd say for otherwise pretty sturdy MBs of this age.

True, I've seen a few early R129 with totally knackered seats and fairly low mileages.
The boot has no badges at all...fresh out of the paint shop?

Looks nice for the money provided everything works, especially the soft top.
