Now had my 1999 CLK320 for six months now and just passed MOT (Phew)

They advised lower ball joints have slight movement. So which are the best online sites for parts?

Found www.eurocarparts.com quoting LEMFORDER Bottom Ball joints at £16.95 each

Any other sites to suggest?

For balljoints I would buy the originals - even from the dealer they are not much more expensive.

hi i have a 1999 c class i got my lower ball joints today for £27 each plus vat, i also got a price from GSF they quote me £11 each plus vat

Lemforder who are now part of the ZF group OF GEARBOX FAME were OEM for Merc in the past. Merc used the American parented TRW component supplier for a time during the Chrysler era which were of inferior quality IMHO http://www.trw.com/who_we_are Don't know who they use now?? but Lemforder should be fine.
