Hi there - just joined and thought i'd try an introduction. I love the late 70's and early 80's mercedes - especially the SLC's and SL's. I have had a black 450SLC project for 5 years but it is just about the become a donor for an '83 SL350 i am in the middle of negotiating for. The 350 is blue and needs tidying & paint - I'd like to keep you in touch as it progresses ( starting with completion of bargaining) - wish me luck!

BMW before....Now CLK!!

Hi,

After 10 years of 5 Series delight, I've decided to become a happy user of a nice Silver CLK-240 Convertible (they call it mid life crisis.....).
I took delivery of my new 54 CLK down in England and now I'm enjoying every minute of it in sunny (truly!!) Aberdeen with 25 deg outside. First impression? A beauty: MB made it with this car (design, finish, quality,etc). BMW was a great experience but time of change has come.

I hope to learn from this forum and also contribute. For now, I'm going out again as many many convertibles are enjoying this heatwave; I hope it lasts!!
