Crikey , look at the roof where the boat has clonked it ...

from the Sun

'The £100,000 Continental GT skidded across a ROUNDABOUT, smashed through a metal POST and careered down a bank into the water. '

further down the article

'But when a staff member went to move the silver Bentley it appears there was a brake fault. '

I wonder how fast they were 'moving it' :D

I know you can't see the front nearside , but it doesn't look like it has 'SMASHED' through a metal post to me .... :D

I think someone has been telling porkies ....

Best place for it! Horrible cars - they haven't really improved on the original design much, either!

At least this one doesn't have a boat parked in the roof and a horrid blue buoy hanging out the window - (seems the other one had a horrid buoy on the inside too!:D)

Continental GT and a Fabia? Schizophrenic, eh?:D;) I'll bet there's more leg room in the back of the Fabia!!

As soon as I saw the Bentley, I thought of the old Standard Vanguard, pictured above.

That looks like a phase 1 Vanguard to me.....

Edit
THIS is more like a proper Continental

Beautiful.
Actually, I think handsome better describes it.

Drop dead gorgeous, Ted. You can almost smell Alan Whicker!

I read another post elsewhere here (I think) where someone left their car in a third party's care to see it later being used for a jolly. It could make you paranoid about having work done on your car.

Oi! I taught myself to drive in one of those 44 years ago!

Were you just going in, or coming out of the river when this was taken?

Whever I see one of those Bentley GTs it reminds me of this classic of design from Russia...

Which is a Pobeda, made by the company that later built the Volga and now the Siber. See the similairty? Seems Russia was ahead of the game on this one! :D

:D If that boat had not dented the roof I bet when the tide goes out the car will be in perfect condition and the driver will be able to nonchantly drive awya without a care in the Wolrd :)

I wonder if there were any trapped fish in the ashtray?

(just trying to keep on topic) :)

Surely you'd find smoked fish in the ashtray?
