An open day you pay through the nose for...marketing at it's best.

I once went to a Mclaren aerodynamics session. That was both interesting and free.

It's a charity event hosted by Williams for the 3 charities they support one of them being the Spinal Injuries Association that's why there is a £70 charge.

It's not an open day it's being billed as a Fan day where you get to meet the Technical Director and the rest of the Team as well as loads of other stuff like the Grand Prix collection etc.

It's part of a week of Motorsport events promoted by the MSA and MIA

£70 is a bargain in my book and some good causes benefit in the process

No apologies needed, problem is the press are also billing it as an open day as well then people see the £70 charge and think they are being ripped off, without looking further into what they actually get for their money or where it goes..

Typical British Press never let the facts get in the way of a good story.

I would have been there and have taken an active part in this Motorsport week but unfortunately I will be in Arizona working at the time
