Hi Jaymanek, any idea how many K's that would be to convert a w123,as i quite like the idea of getting my one done, imaculate bodywork in pajet red with cream leather,a nice v8 would make it perfect!

No I'm afraid I don't know anything about this particular one .
All I do know is that you beat me too it i rang about it Sunday evening and it had gone I then saw your post and realised it was the same car. Best of all I know the most you could have paid for it and at the asking price it was a bargain.
Good look with it if you need to know anything or any parts give me shout' I break them and repair em too.

Now my C36 is up and running, it'll be going in for a respray soon so I'll probably end up selling the W123 to fund the C36 and also I'm running out of space!

I bought it on a bit of a whim (see my other thread) as a runabout while the C36 is getting done.

you get a general warm feeling just wafting about...

Totally agree. I love wafting about in my 230E. You have made a really good job of cleaning the interior.

I'm sure you will keep it - lovely car.

An late 90's C36 is way too geez. A W123 230CE is a true classic.

Ditch the C36. Keep the CE.

And the natural order of things is restored !

When I buy my 'toys', I do so with my children in mind; if they like it, I keep it for a while. If not, then it will go.

Out of the classics that I've been buying and selling, not one of them will even get in the W123, they loved the Mark I Golf GTi cabriolet though.

I might advertise it to see of it gets any interest and if it doesn't sell then I'll have to find somewhere to store it.

I had a 230 ce in bronze from over Lancashire way. Lovely thing it was. Rotten in parts unseen but on the surface and to drive it was like a swan.

Later w124 300ce was everyday usable though and a gem to drive. Horses for courses, I guess. But I'd have either again. Pillarless coupes never get old, just more classic!

Lovely car, nice job on the clean up. :thumb:
