Opinions on aftermarket exhaust modifications

With months of trying and failing to aquire a CLK55 backbox or quad pipes from a CLK63 I am faced with having to go down the aftermarket route to get my CLK V6 from its measly single pipe exhaust to at least a double or most preferably quad pipes...

Or a what seems to be single backbox but 4 pipe exit system for £350

Has anyone had an aftermarket system fitted? Any recommendation/price ideas. What do you think of the above systems? I'm hesistant to remove the stock MB system in fear of quality concerns with these aftermarket units.

If not going down adding more exits what's everyone's need recommendation to make it louder/deeper.
I've previously been told to removed resonator but their are mixed reviews on whether this actually makes a difference.

Can you have one made-up? - The Nissan has a full 2.5" stainless system from the turbo back; that cost me £90 for the turbo elbow and £350 for the rest of the system... it was a little loud so I spent another £50 getting another box put in.

I had my SL500 exhaust modified by a company local to me on the Wirral called Cybox. I retained the original tips so the exhaust looks stock, but the back boxes were stripped out and a larger pipe internal passing though. It transformed the sound- the normal 5.5V8 note was nice but a bit tame, now it sounds like a V8 with a lovely growl when stressed. Cost i think £325,that was last March.
They are knowledgeable people and I'm sure they'd advise what is best for you, even if that is a replacement system.

Mine was done by "Silver Systems" in Leek, but he's a Powerflow dealer so I would expect a Powerflow dealer local to you to quote a similar price.

The old system was actually twin-exit, but it was mild steel and was falling to bits. - The stainless system pops and bangs a lot more on the over-run.
