Opinions on grille colour please

While the SL is in the bodyshop I'm thinking about having the grille colour coded to the car, but keeping the chrome star. (The wheel centres are now gloss black)

I can't decide whether it looks better in the standard bronze finish or black like the one in the thread below, which has a black grille and black star. The bronze has always looked a bit out of place as it's the only part of the car that is like it apart from the trim on the boot lid which looks more black anyway.

I think the star will look out of place, so for me it's either leave it be, or satin black the lot.

Black with silver star . I think if you paint the star black it will look as if you could not be a*sed to mask it off.

Thanks for the input so far guys. I've managed to get hold of a damaged grille to experiment on before I make the final decision. I'll post up some pics of the different finishes.

I voted 'original' because the black is simply too black.
