I've done it then, ordered a C43 today

Brilliant blue, driver assistance pack, premium plus pack, memory pack, HUD, performance exhaust, leather interior with ash trim. Got £6.5k discount too

I went in armed with a CarWow quote and told him he could have the order if he matched it. Didn't work at the first dealer, but did at the second

Out of interest, would you mind telling who were the first and second dealers.

I’ve bought from Teesside 3 times now and never had much luck, but there again that’s probably because I’m too soft when trying for discount.

Recently got mine in a similar spec and I'm in love !

My MB listed price was 65 with all the options. Safe tobsay i got a very large discount .

I’ve bought from Teesside 3 times now and never had much luck, but there again that’s probably because I’m too soft when trying for discount.

I tried Sunderland first but they were £700 higher, and whilst I prefer to give my business to local places £700 is £700 and as I'm using HP not PCP every penny counts. Teesside matched it after I told them the story. Sunderland apparently borrowed the C43 from Teesside for my first test drive and I think a lot of it was honour as Sunderland isn't an AMG specialist.

I will certainly be coming out to play, delivery isn't until May/June though and I'll need some time to get used to the much bigger car!

Depends what you're looking for. If you want the roaring V8 RWD monster that will rip off your face if you look at it funny then the C63 is what you want. If you can afford it. The C43 is more refined, better as a daily driver and long trips but still fun when you floor it in sports mode

The C43 will be a much nicer place to be There are plenty of cars which can out perform an AMG but they are often soulless faceless fake creations which leave you cold , I should know Hope you enjoy the C43 and the MB /AMG community

Obviously I've not been in a C63, but from the dozens of C43 reviews I've read that's pretty much much the opinion
