origin b2 £330 inc vat bargain

What's the latest on the GPS 'safety camera blackspot' detectors at the moment?

What's best at the moment, what's coming out soon that is better/worth waiting for, and what sort of prices are people paying for these? :)

How easy are they to integrate, and how good are the updates/reliability of the different models?

And when is the radar detector ban starting?

Cheers,

Will

No one?

Nothing beats the Origin b2 for my money - (doesn't do tennis balls, but most everything else) and it can be hidden from prying eyes.

Link

I got mine from origin, but that's because they offered a good discount if you sent back the MK1 version - above appears to be a good link to them at £330.

Update is simple, connect to computer, automatic download, £50 pa.

If you want to review everything on the market look here

Radar detector ban has been passed by the Commons I think, waiting to go the Lords, won't be in before 2006 I read somewhere.

Guy,

I had the Mk 1 and also upgraded to the Mk 2 it's a great peice of kit, have had it for over three years now, never fails, as you said the update is very easy. I have had the carbon covered one fitted to the C43 looks good.

Peter.

The only problem with the B2 is that the update cable is still serial rather than USB. This can cause problems for laptop users as very few laptops have a serial connector.
