Original Mini Concept Rally Car

Here's a sketch my youngest (14) knocked up today - entirely freehand.

This is where his imagination took him....

"The Mini Rally Sport Group B is a modified high performance rally car based on the classic Mini. Designed for all terrain racing at speeds of over 150MPH. With it's tiny wheelbase, lightweight frame and powerful 600 BHP Boxer engine mounted in the centre, this car would certainly have the potential to dominate any form of rally car (if it was real)."

The sketch certainly has movement and speed.

While obviously biased, I think it's good for his age - what say you?

A good 10 years ago Master E sketched a convertible VW that bore some resemblance to the Passat. He sent it off to VW, who sent him a nice reply and a few goodies. He would like to think the Eos was related to that sketch...

Send a copy in to Mini - the reply could be a good encouragement to a fledgling interest / career

I think my title is a little confusing.

It's the original Mini by Austin, on steroids for rallying.

Bizarrely, he also sent a drawing of a Beetle to VW and they also sent him a model Beetle, with a letter.
