Wow, wonderful kit but imagine the resale value in 18 months time

I've still got my first *real* PC... an olivetti 486 DX2 66, "the fastest Windows PC money could buy" according to PC pro in 1995 . It cost me a whopping £3,700 including a 17" monitor. For a brief moment I had the King of all PC's, all my friends were jealous and gobsmacked how fantastic the graphics were playing Doom 1 (chuckle) - I cant bear to throw it in a skip knowing how much I scrimped and saved to pay for it

Somewhere in a box back in Australia I still have my trusty first PC compatible:

8mhz 8088 (I think - might have been NEC V20)
twin 360k floppies
cga card
640k ram
black and white screen
DOS 2.11 !!!!!

urk......

I remember games like Buck Rodgers, Tapper and Lode Runner in 4 shades of grey!

tee hee I put in a request for one as well - my "boss" said "no" - she wasn't chuckling so much as muttering about school uniforms, food etc :)

I still have some bits from my 486sx25 from 1995. I was still at school but worked all summer and paid about £400 for a board, processor and memory. That was back in the days when a 1meg simm cost about £30 :) .

I have the board, processor and "overboard" or "aboveboard" or whatever intel upgrade card for my first ever pc in a drawer here. That thing was a beast back in the early 90s but it's lost some of it's edge now ;) .

I have a black and white toshiba lap top from about 1988 with 20mb hard drive. It was cutting edge in its day

LOL, funny you say that, I have one of those Toshiba's sitting in front of me now.....If anyone askes what the latest notebook is that were getting I point them at the Toshiba :D :D :D

Interestingly, it appears that the company claiming to make these devices is a complete hoax. (Note to self: never piss these guys off)

Try this one though at a measly USD$155k:

Egad and gadzooks batman!
A good find Scott, I was certainly fooled by the site
