Was out with the boss in my car today, and I pulled over to look at the map (no satnav yet :( ). He got out of the car to take off his suit jacket, but did not notice the bollard kerbside. BANG! I could have killed him  the chrome part rubbing strip on the door has a small dent in it, and there are a couple of chips in the lacquer. By the sound though, I expected the damage to be a lot worse than it was. Lucky the paint is tough!

I told him I would invoice the company ;)

Ouch, I know the sound it puts a shiver down your spine!.

My dad's done this before in my car, luckily with no damage done.

Hope it's not too major. Not sure what it's like to do on the W203, but from memory on the W202 it's really easy to replace the chrome strip in the side moulding.

Hopefully someone else may have some advice on that, but Chips Away will proabaly be fine on the paint / lacquer damage. Hope it works out okay for you...
