Was in the news today, having rather over-cooked, well, everything and being burnt to the ground.
Fortunately, it's not the sort of establishment one tends to frequent, living a bit further along the coast and having more discerning tastes.

Apparently, the current rumour is someone turned on an empty deep fat fryer, which then caught alight. You can guess what they tried using to extinguish the fire!🙄

Wait for it... before the day is out someone will post that they saw a Tesla in the car park, and the Internet will expolde with clips and blogs about how Tesla catch fire and EV batterirs and whatnot.... 🤣

I’ve not had a Harvester for years. I used to feel a remarkable sense of pleasure going at lunch time when they had different pricing, and you could have a main meal, with unlimited salad - which I really made the most of - for £4.99, which was exceptional value all those years ago.

If I remember right we went one Saturday lunchtime, and as well as the lunch time price we had kids eat free and 20% off. They must have made a loss as I think the bill was less than £12 for two adults and two children and the kids had salad and ice cream with theirs too.

My children were 23 and 28 at the time. OK, that last bit is not true but the rest is, amazing even for 10 or so years ago.

What's the difference between Harvester and TGI Friday....? 🤔

It’s difficult to explain but quite wildly different. Unless something has changed they both have skin-on-fries in common though.

Harvester and TGIF are two completely different eating 'experiences' .Last time We went to a TGIF they were being all American with the 'have a nice day 'attitude and it was expensive for what it was.

Harvester , more of a family 'get it down your neck' kind of place . Must admit it's been a long time since I went in either , none in my local area.

Hope no one was hurt.
