If I have Outlook on two machines linked on a home network -- is it possible to syncronise the contents of outlook on both ?

If so - How?

Thanks

No simple way of doing this (as far as I know)- looked into it a while back, if you share the pst file across the network the pst can only be accessed by outlook at a time (can't run on two machines at the same time).

But I do achieve almost this by setting the options not to delete the mail on the server for 15 days - then both machines can receive the same mail. The drawback here is that the send items get out sync - but its OK for my purposes (being to able to get at mail if the other machine is being hogged - also it means you can see the last 15 days in you ISPs web mail - which can be useful when not at home).

There is a way to sync two pst files so that they share the same data. Only thing is Outlook must not be used while snyc-ing.

i forget what the program is called, when i remember i'll post it up.

You can achieve the same thing by setting Outlook up to backup the PST file on exit - just set the location for backup as being the location on the other machine where the PST file is stored. You have to install:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...3A-B7D0-4B16-B8AF-5A6322F4FD01&displaylang=en

I use Exchange Server now.

Or you could use IMAP mail if your provider has the facility (syncs mail to their server and as many pcs as you like)

Sync your calendar via google calandar.

googlemail and Gmail offer IMAP and it works well too.
