I wouldn’t dare go 200mph in that......

The fecking wind noise from 167mph is unbearable!

“The video caught the attention of Detective Superintendent Andy Cox, the lead for road safety project Vision Zero, who tweeted on Thursday: "Aware of this horrific driving. I have tasked some investigative work to see if we can identify the car involved and relevant location.””

Just go to an audi forum.
Will take 20 seconds to find him bragging

I still don’t understand this obsession with people despising McDonald’s customers.

Obesity and the cost to society?

I don’t know. But i do occasionally have a hunkering for junk food...

Pah, Astramax. A real man's van is the MK4 Escort van, RST Dog Legs, bumpers and Recaro's, booming system and selection of dubious items in the back.

Ah to be 17 again :)
I guess now it will be the Citan .

At least it has the right badge on the front .

It’s a wonder VAG haven’t made an Audi van , for show offs .

Unpopular opinion.

Are people digressed that he video'd this one handed or the fact that he did 200mph in a 70.

He appeared to stay in the outside lane most of time time and didn't undertake anyone from what i saw.

The tabloids have made out like he was going through traffic.

Even on a derestricted section of autobahn, 200mph is risky when there are other cars about and that's when those other drivers know it can happen and typically adopt suitable lane discipline. In the U.K., nobody is expecting to be overtaken by a car doing 130mph more than they are.

So for me, it's not the speed per ce, it's the stupidity of the driver. Driving with one hand on the wheel, using a mobile whilst driving and assuming that other drivers stay out of the way. Just crazy and massively arrogant.

That's it summarised to a tee.
The risk of someone straying into his path. Then what, a vault of the central reservation into the oncoming traffic?

If it goes wrong at 200mph, there's a hell of a lot of energy to dissipate. Need at least two bottles of T-cut to sort the scratches out.

Assuming this driver is charged with a driving offence what length of ban would he/she recieve?

He passed a number of other vehicles, in my book that's traffic.

If someone drove like that and stopped at a motorway services i would fully expect them to get a good kicking from other motorists for endangering their lives so blatantly.

Like a group of grown men dishing out the punishment to one bloke. Actually laying into him him while he’s lying on the floor curled up and trying to protect his head. All this goes on in front of families, possibly with young kids.
And then get a possible jail term out of it.

99.9% of them wouldn’t have the spine and I’ve a good feeling you’ve never seen something like this actually happen.

I can't really remember but I don't think tinted windows were the thing in 92?
