Overhaul SLS valve

I asked this in another post but suspect it got buried.
I disconnected the SLS valve control arm and then moved the lever up and down with the engine running. Nothing happened so either the hydraulic pump is giving no pressure of the valve leaks internally or something.
Has anybody used a pressure valve to test these two possibilities and if it turns out to be the valve, any suggestions where I can buy a repair kit?

And as a secondary question, does anyone know which hydraulic fluid is used to fill the system? 0009898503 seems to be the part number but there are variants like 8803 etc and I hve not found any details of etiher
