OVP relay question

Today I did something stupid ....
I changed the battery on my old 124 and somehow put the the wrong connector on the wrong side. Doh!!
Now the ABS light is on which makes me think I knackered the OVP relay ...
The two blade fuses on top of the relay are fine which makes me think I must have fried the insides of the relay.
Ore could it be anything else?

You may have damaged the ABS unit itself [ not the electronics bit ] if it has a direct [ always live] 12 volt supply. The OVP relay is there mainly to protect the engine ecu, rotary idle valve control and ABS electronics from high voltage transients-not sure on the reverse polarity bit. Main Relay internal component is a ZENER DIODE . Try swapping out the OVP first
