P & S Motors Ltd for Information

Wow. These guys are just down the road from me, and I was convinced they were really an official Mercedes dealer!

So MB are justified in their actions.
If you have been under the impression that they were an official dealer, being pretty savvy and aware, how many others have been that may not be as aware.

I have always thought the MB stock at P&S nothing special and expensive to boot

Just shows you how careful we need to be.
I think we're fairly safe. We have a disclaimer at the bottom which states that we're not affiliated with anyone. We don't use any logos etc and we don't make any money out of the forum.

There are one or two pictures of logos knocking around but they are photographs of car parts etc

I think that is a fairly sensible assessment. P&S really abused the Mercedes brand, it looked very much like an official dealership, the use of corporate colours, fonts and the MB logo all were deliberately used to trick people into thinking they were the real deal. That was just not very fair. Nothing wrong with being an independent, but be open about it.

As for this forum, it is if anything helpful to the Merc brand: there is no confusion as to its independence, but being a friendly place for Merc owners to meet and socialise, it should work in favour of the brand if anything. :)

Certainly, their website leaves you in absolutely no doubt that they are independant.

And apart from Mercedes, they haven't half got a tasty selection of motors.

They have always had the reputation of being very expensive.
