P0088FC The fuel pressure in the system is too high. Mercedes GLK (x204)

Hello,

i have a problem with my Mercedes GLK 2013 (X204) 220 CDI 4-matic 103 KW, when i drive normally and i press the gas pedal to overtake the front car, the fault engine light goes on and the car goes in limp mode.

i checked the errors and what i get is P0088FC The fuel pressure in the system is too high (attached image).

What can be the problem? Hopefully somebody can help me.

Xentry would have guided what to do next. Also there is a hint 'fuel pressure regulating via fuel quantity valve'... Perform fuel quantity valve tests, quite common fault.
