Hi everyone first time positing, I have a mercedes s350 cdi 2010 facelift w221

Last week as I was about to over take a cyclist went for kickdown and car went into limp mode traction light and tyre pressure sensor inop on the dash and eml light on, pulled over switched car on and off and only eml light is on car drives ok.

The lights only come on when I kick down. Plug a computer in and throttle position sensor fault, so I order a 2nd hand pedal and same fault then I order a brand new throttle body and fault still there I have had it plugged to star and had the throttle body learned in.

No I have realised if I clear the faults and just put the ignition on without starting the car and do a kick down the lights come back on?

Any ideas im getting mixed advice some say speed senor some say steering angle sensor

Could my second hand pedal also have been faulty?

And also on star if the speed senor or angle sensor were faulty would it not show it?

Any ideas ?

Hi, did you get this fixed?

Hi yes after giving it in at a mercedes specialist and them checking all wiring because I told them I had changed the throttle body and pedal so they didn't bother checking any off them parts, eventually they took a pedal out from another vehicle and put it in turns out my 2nd hand pedal was also faulty, so yes it was the pedal lesson learnt always order a brand new part 😉
