P0D1A (00) EV/Hybrid battery pack cooling control valve b open/short

Check engine light
And P0D1A fault code.

When erasing code it turns check engine light off until 2 more starts then it comes back.

Any chance there is a recall for this valve?

E300de 2019. 130000 kilometers

Runs like normal.

No but it's very common, and not too expensive to change.

Ok. Thank you. The ting is i bought it used in december.

Already have got the rear break discs and pads on warranty.
And oil level was too high when i bought it.

Starting to miss my volvo v90 t5 -17 i traded in.
Had it 4years not a problem except the door hinges and freezing stuck Doors in winter.

If it is so common. How Come i find Nothing on the internet about it. And can i make a long trip as it is? Have to go approx 700 kilometers trip next weekend

Because nobody has posted about it? Most of these are still in dealer network and under warranty, but this valve (coolant switchover valve) is used in loads of places in loads of MBs and they fail like clockwork at 100k miles.

Pads and discs are consumables. Sounds like supplying dealer didn't check the car before supplying.

It Will go into limp mode or engine only mode if the power electronics get too hot.
