For a while now I've been wanting to make a paddock stand. Today I woke up looked myself in the mirror and said, 'WhitwellMIke, todays that day'.
So I started with a 22mm dia Bar, turned it down to 20mm for half it's length. This way it will go into a stop. Next I 3d modelled the post to work out the angle to cut the holes.
The tubes in the car are at 15deg, with meant the holes in the tube had to be machined to suit. The first one is ready for welding. When finished it will slide into the Halford axel stand replacing the original tube.
