300sl 1992 pinky/red ish lol where exactly is the paint code i have found the plate in front of the radiator with all numbers on but dont know which group of numbers it is.
Anyone help here

Paint codes are usually three numbers suffixed by a U

A '92 model may be a bit early for EPC decode...

If it's similar to the W201, W124 and W126 then this should help.

If you have the service book with the data card pasted in the back, it is the 3 didgit number at the top right.

It is also on the data plate under the bonnet on the bottom left of the plate.

it is similar to mine but have not got a service book sorry have not got a photo but these are the group numbers on the plate exactly ,which 3 digit number is it for the colour ?
