Paint Defects?

Have noticed when polishing my car, there are 5 areas around rear wing / wheelarch that look like the paint has been applied over some grit, the topcoat is intact so its definitely something under the paint....anyone had similar issues they appear in random positions
I've only had the car 6 weeks and bought it from MB main dealer, would this be covered by warranty?....its definitely a defect of some sort....possible previous respray?

Assume best thing to do is take it in for MB to review....they still owe me 1/2 tank of diesel!! they promised a full tank on collection but it was in the diesel panic buying week so said they could not fill it at the local garage??

Tried to take photos, but cant get a good shot they are so small, you have to be up close to notice.

Any assist appreciated

Take it to a high quality independent too...for an ''independent'' view.

get on to the dealer quick smart. contact customer services and log a complaint/issue (this will help speed up the process).

Get an independent inspection, you want to be sure it is only a paint issue. A manufacturer can repair a vehicle upto 3% the vehicles value and not disclose the work.

^ But then I am paranoid - I have a paintwork claim ongoing... on my new vito.

i bought a new c class in march and noticed when washing it there was dirt under the clearcoat up the window pillars i took it back to main dealer and they repainted the pillars no problem very unusual for mb especially on a new car i would of thought their quality control would have picked this up prior to delivery all ok now

Yes, approved used from MB Whitefield. 1 years warranty etc... but did not take the minor damage warranty as an extra....did not expect flaws in MB paintwork.

Will try and get some pictures and post.

Ps as earlier reply....how do you find a paint specialist locally?...is this just a Hi quality bodyshop?
