Panamericana grille Mercedes SL?

So Mercedes just announced that the Panamericana Grille will now be their standard on AMG, just seeing anyone has managed to find one for the R230 SL ? Would love to get one. Failing that I may modify another model to make it fit perhaps?

That's a no from me as well. It suits the more modern MBs with an upright grill but doesn't look right to me on the sloping R230 front.

But if you like it, that is all that matters.

oh no. I think its an ugly heavy handed grill whatever its on. But each to his own.

Opinions are like A holes, but FWIW I don't think anything other than the latest generation models suit the Panamericana grille. The shape (of most) and sloping fronts (of some) older generation Mercs just aren't made for this grille.

Although it is your car and therefore your choice.

I agree with the others - I don't think it looks good on that car but would really like one on my car. I've been toying with teh idea for about 2 years. My wife says I'm a procrastinator - I disagree.

It looks like a train cattle catcher to me, but as the others said, it's your car
