No, I didn't get any mesh. Plus no mesh on OEM grill.

No mesh on OEM but the gaps are smaller, because of that I fitted some black extruded aluminium mesh behind my grill, try and stop any stray stones etc that get kicked up.

I'm doing exactly the same to my 2013 SL - wheels are away being refurbished and I have the panamericana grill ready to go on. I'm having a real nightmare trying to get the front bumper off though - any tips?
I've removed all the lower bolts, the 2 each side behind the arch liner and the two in the lower grill, but I just can't seem to get the top to separate at the slam panel :-(
