Panoramic roof fitting.

Anybody know if a '97 panny roof will fit a '91 129, I know there was some discussion about this a while back but I can't find it. Iirc correctly the consensus was that it was probably ok but would require new seals?

Officially no without modifying the seals (no window drop on '94 cars and earlier).
